Program Overview
The Exceed Preschool Program is a highly structured, student centered,
thematic program for both three and four year olds. The Program utilizes the
use of centers: Reading, Housekeeping/Pretend Play, Sensory, Science and
others so that students have the opportunity to approach learning in a
hands-on way. The program also incorporates mathematics, music, art and
science/social studies into the day to day curricula. This program is not
simply “playtime” but instead is designed to engage students in active
exploration of the world around them. Weekly lessons and daily activities are
centered around particular themes. For example, in September themes included:
School, All about Me, Fall and Harvest Celebrations.
